Fun fact: I am sitting here at terminal C at EZE/ Buenos Aires Airport exactly the same distance from the equator as I did 24 hours ago in BTV, just on the flip-side. Is it disorienting? Gravity works the same and I am not as tired as I would be traveling east or west from BTV. There is only one hour time difference. Yet, 24 hours of traveling makes my brain foggy and I can only find traction in the obvious: the sound of the language, the slower rhythm and deliberate movement of people around me, the early sunrise, the sound of the espresso machine in the distance that reminds me of Italy and Spain, and then there is the free wifi for now.
Next stop Ushuaia, the world's most southern city.
